I understand that as parents we approach things in different
ways, and when I am working with a family to help manage their child's sleep I always try to
give parents options that suits their own parenting style, theirs and their child’s
temperament, and their individual
circumstances. Sleep programmes are only successful when they are individually tailored
to a family’s needs and wants, and during the initial
consultation we will discuss all of these things. We will tailor tried and tested sleep management methods to work in your situation, taking all factors into account. Your programme will be agreed with you according your families needs.
I am very happy to work with families of children with additional needs, and am experienced in doing so in my previous NHS work and my private work.
If you would like to chat through any concerns, anxieties or worries that you may before booking an appointment please do get in touch.

Young baby consultation
There is growing evidence that good sleep early in life is important for babies and children's development and future learning. The sooner sleep problems can be resolved, or better still avoided in the first place, the better the outcome for the child later in life.
I offer a 45-60 minutes telephone/SKYPE consultation that is designed to put you and your baby on the right track towards a good night of sleep as soon as your baby is capable. It will help you to avoid future sleep problems and establish healthy sleep practices right for birth. We will also discuss safe sleep practices so as to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, as well as the things that you can do to ensure that you too get as much high quality sleep as you can in those early days. This is not about leaving your baby to cry!
consultation I will then email you all the points that we have discussed so that you have them to
